Face Up Dual Texture Peeling Pad
Exfoliation is an important part of my skin care routine. Some time ago, I reached into my stash and came across a jar of chemical and physical exfoliating pads from the new to me brand, D’Care.
Their Face Up Peeling Pads feature dual textured flower petal shaped pads, with a smoothing side to tone the skin and an exfoliating side to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.

Not only are the pads a unique and nice shape, but they’re also swimming in ingredients that are good for the skin:
- 4 Hydroxy Acids: AHA, BHA, PHA, LHA (use sunscreen with these hydroxy acids during the day)
- 6 Botanical Extracts.
These pads provide exfoliation plus hydration, perfect for my dry mature skin. I discovered that if I still wanted to use the pads for toning and chemical exfoliation I could easily peel off the exfoliation fabric, as my older skin can’t really handle a physical exfoliator more than once or twice a week.
Key Features and Product Benefits
- Deep Exfoliation: Removes dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads for a smoother, more even skin tone.
- Hydrating Formula: Infused with botanical extracts to nourish skin while exfoliating.
- Dual Sided Design: The textured part exfoliates, while the smooth part (often with a logo) tones and hydrates.
- Suitable for all skin types: On normal, combination and oily skin, the pads are suitable for daily use. For those with dry, very dry or sensitive skin, use once or twice a week or in between, do what I do: remove the exfoliating mesh.
- Clean Formula & Cruelty-Free: Free of parabens, sulphates, phthalates and mineral oil.
how to use
- Preparation: On clean, dry skin, use the textured side of the pad to gently wipe face and neck.
- Treatment: Flip the pad to the softer side and wipe again to tone and hydrate.

To be honest, if I had realized that D’Care Face Up was no longer readily available, I would not have written about them. But I like these pads and find them to be an interesting and quite unique product. oh ok.
