Although I still have a lot of new products to review, I’ve been trying to clean out my office and bathroom, so I’ve started shopping my stash.
I thought about giving this facial oil away, but I changed my mind. I’m a fan of Purlisse, so I decided to use it.
I’ve written about Purlisse before, but if you don’t remember, here’s a little background. Perlise was founded by Jennifer Yen, a Chinese-American from Alabama, an actress who often wore heavy stage makeup. She was looking for skin care that could help brighten her stressed skin. Using the skin care secrets of her grandmother and her Chinese culture, as well as research findings from Korea, France and the US, she launched Perlise to bring results-driven skin care products to market. Purlisse is a clean beauty brand that I find effective for me.
Pearlise Glow Revival Facial Oil
Benefits and Features
Although Pearlise Glow Revival Facial Oil It may be more suitable for wintertime use, yet it is also useful for hot, dry climates. It is also useful for stressed and dehydrated skin. I love to treat myself to this when my skin needs some extra TLC.
Glow Revival Facial Oil provides:
- intense hydration
- a healthy glow
- Soothing and calming for stressed and irritated skin
- Firmness and elasticity.
Although Perlise claims the Glow Revival Facial Oil absorbs quickly, you should really only use a few drops of the oil. Glow Revival Facial Oil is sticky.

After cleansing and toning, I don’t even put a whole dropper full of Glow Revival Oil on my fingers and press it into my skin. Less is more when it comes to this facial oil. But Glow Revival Facial Oil leaves my dry, mature skin feeling soft, smooth and velvety. After applying this oil, I do not need moisturizer.
Sometimes if I need a little more oomph, i.e. hydration, from a moisturizer, I’ll add a drop of Glow Revival Facial Oil to my lightweight moisturizer.
While Perlise says the Glow Revival Facial Oil is recommended for all skin types – dry, sensitive, combination, oily, I find it hard to believe that this rich oil will work for oily skin. Frankly, it looks best for people with dry or very dry skin.
Material
Pearlise Glow Revival Facial Oil is made primarily from natural extracts and oils. It does not contain any added fragrance. However, some oils have their own mild fragrance. As a result, I would describe the oil as having a very mild, natural scent that fades when applied to the skin, especially if you’re only using 2-3 drops of the oil.
Major ingredients in the oil include:
- Algae Oil: Rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants to deeply nourish and protect the skin
- Purple Leaf: Known for its soothing properties and ability to improve skin texture
- Oolong tea: Rich in polyphenols to help protect against environmental stresses
- rice seed oil: Provides comfort and glow to the skin
- Soy Milk: Rich in amino acids and helps maintain skin elasticity
