America gave India 30 days exemption from buying Russian oil
United States Treasury Secretary Scott Besant tweeted, “…to keep oil flowing into the global market, the Treasury Department is issuing a temporary 30-day waiver to allow Indian refiners to purchase Russian oil… India is an essential partner of the United States, and we fully expect New Delhi to step up purchases of American oil. This stop-gap measure will ease the pressure caused by Iran’s attempt to hold global energy hostage.”
