North Augusta – Health providers in downtown North Augusta have expanded further, now including licensed acupuncturist Hartford B. Campbell, Jr., who has joined Aiken-Augusta Holistic Health.

The clinic, located at 308 West Avenue, provided integrative medicine to the area. for about 20 years.

“Acupuncture is a powerful tool for restoring balance and supporting the whole person – body, mind and spirit,” Campbell said. “My goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where patients feel supported in achieving meaningful, lasting health.”

Aiken-Augusta Holistic Health announced March 23 that the West Avenue clinic has expanded to include Campbell.

Cambell, an Atlanta native, earned his master’s degree at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, N.C. Before that, he received his bachelor’s degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, according to the news release.

Campbell practices not only acupuncture but also moxibustion and cupping.

According to Aiken-Augusta Holistic Health, each of these treatments can be used to help manage and treat a variety of health needs and can be administered along with more traditional medicine as part of a coordinated health plan — Campbell also facilitates referrals to physicians and other health professionals.

The clinic reports that people with mood disorders or neuro-musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, dermatological or gynecological conditions may benefit from one of the therapies provided by Campbell. So, those looking for fertility or oncology can also support.

“Campbell works with patients to address both the root causes and symptoms of disease, supporting the body’s natural healing ability,” the news release says. “He integrates a classical Chinese medicine approach with outcome-oriented, evidence-informed treatment strategies to provide comprehensive, personalized care for pain, illness, stress management and overall well-being.”
