My favorite mascara was the L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza (reviewed here). It had a flared wand and gave me a winged look. I loved it. Of course, it was discontinued years ago.
A few weeks ago, a reader left a comment about one of the long-discontinued mascaras that were part of the L’Oréal Voluminous Butterfly collection. He asked if I knew where to still buy it. I told him it was discontinued about 10 years ago, and I wouldn’t buy anything I saw on eBay or any other resale website because they were so old.
She mentioned L’Oreal Voluminous Telescopic (a lengthening mascara), but she said she didn’t like it. he asked about it L’Oreal Voluminous PanoramaBut I told him I haven’t tried it yet.
So when I had extra money as well as a discount from CVS, I decided to try the Voluminous Panorama.
L’Oreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara
Giant Panorama Mascara There is also a flare stick. It is believed that it will lengthen your lashes up to 14 times and also give you a wide-eyed look. I like it.
Product Description
It comes in a wide gold tube which reminds me of Thrive Cosmetics’ wide tubes.
This wand doesn’t have plastic teeth like my favorite Voluminous Butterfly Intenza, but does have raised bristles.

In my experience so far, the wand works very well in terms of separating the lashes and coating them evenly. Since I have droopy eyes, the longer bristles on the end of the brush don’t work as well as they would on someone without droopy eyes. As a result, I need to go back with the tip of the wand to feather my outer lashes and also coat my lashes as the inner corner.
The formula is volumizing (I usually prefer lengthening), but I believe it’s actually both volumizing and lengthening. Thank God, it doesn’t make my lashes look as thick as spider lashes, but they do look thicker than when I use Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions.
Here’s what the CVS website says about it:
Buy L’Oréal Paris Panorama Mascara for panoramic volume from corner to corner. A volumizing mascara that’s clump-resistant, flake-resistant, smudge-resistant, and wear-resistant for up to 24 hours. Feel lightness. Multi level bristle brush easily grips each lash from inner to outer corner for even application from root to tip

my experience so far
Although the Voluminous Panorama Mascara in Black (#700) is quite different from Thrive’s black and gray tubing mascaras, which I have been using almost exclusively for the last 2-3 years, I do like L’Oreal Panorama. The stick is easy to use. Although the formula shouldn’t clump together, I found that some of my lashes would stick together from time to time. Plus, because the formula is thicker than I’m used to, I often end up with a dot of mascara on my lower lashes. Still, I think if I look more carefully in the mirror, I can fix these issues.

As long as your eyes don’t drain, the film or stain won’t come off throughout the day. Today when I was outside, an insect entered my eye and my eyes watered. As a result, I ended up with a small stain near the inner corner of my lower eyelid from trying to get the bug out and my eyes watering. It is not bad to think.
I will say that my lashes look thicker and longer. Because of the volumizing formula, I would describe the look as more dramatic than my regular look with Thrive’s tubing mascara, where I stop after a few coats.
I have a hard time capturing the lash look with my camera, but here’s how:

Although I don’t prefer the L’Oréal Voluminous Panorama Mascara to my old favorite Voluminous Butterfly Intenza nor do I prefer it to the Thrive Cosmetics Liquid Lash Extensions, it is a good mascara, especially for the price. By the way, it is washable.
retail information
Don’t shop at CVS unless you have no other choice. Since I had a lot of cashback as well as a 30% coupon, I had to pay around $10 for the L’Oreal Voluminous Panorama Mascara. The price in store was $17.69, which was an extremely expensive price for a drugstore mascara. When I looked where to buy mascara, I saw the following:
So I don’t know why CVS in my small town charges about $5 more than everywhere else. Grrr.
At under $13, I’d say the L’Oreal Voluminous Panorama is worth a try. Besides black, it comes in several colors:
- brown
- navy
- burgundy
- brown black
- Black
- blackest black.
