Although I haven’t used these particular Korean skin care products, I thought I should at least alert you to them if you or someone you know is looking for anti-acne products. Both Abib and #OOTD are among my favorite K-beauty brands in terms of efficacy and affordability.

    Abib Heartleaf Calming Trial Kit

What was I thinking? Actually, that’s what I was thinking Abib’s Heartleaf Trial Kit Meant for sensitive skin. For me, “calming” can mean calming redness or soothing sensitive skin. But in this case I was wrong. The Abib Heartleaf Calming Trial Kit contains travel-sized versions of the 4-step collection for acne-prone skin.

    The four products include:

    • Gentle anti-acne ingredients like Salicylic Acid, Houttuinia Cordata (Wintergreen) Extract, Asiaticoside and Asiatic Acid that soothe inflammation and heal skin
    • Hydrating ingredients to moisturize and soften: Panthenol, Glycerine, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, etc.

    Collection

4 Steps Abib Heartleaf Trial Set

    1. Step 1: Abib Acne Hearthleaf Foam Cleanser (1 fl. oz/30 ml): In addition to salicylic acid, the Acne Foam Cleanser also contains wintergreen extract as well as a variety of hydrating ingredients. Like Panthenol, Glycerine, Butylene Glycol and more. Mix water to create a lather, massage into skin and rinse with lukewarm water.
    2. Step 2: Abib Heartleaf Calming Toner Skin Booster (1.0 fl. oz./30 ml): After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to the face with light tapping motions to help the skin absorb it.
    3. Step 3: Abib Heartleaf TECA Capsule Serum Calming Drops (0.50 fl. oz./15 ml): Apply a few drops to the skin and apply.
    4. Step 4: Abib Heartleaf Cream Calming Tube (0.67 fl. oz./20 ml): Apply enough to cover skin and pat to absorb.

    fragrance free.

I bought this little kit during Abib’s recent sale, and I think it cost me between $5-7 which is a good thing because I can’t use it all. Still, the regular price is $18 Amazon And ABIB US.

    #OOTD Star Spot Patch

This treatment product contains 80, yes 80!, hydrocolloid patches with niacinamide and ceramide. Hydrocolloid is a moisture-holding gel-forming material used in dermatology. When applied to the skin, it absorbs excess fluid (such as pus or oil) and forms a protective, hydrated barrier that speeds healing, prevents scarring, and prevents bacteria.

The star-shaped patches come in a variety of fun colors, and are made to be worn overnight.

I had to laugh because when I was in college I used to wear little paper, metal stars like the ones teachers in elementary school used to put on your papers when you did good work. They had nothing to do with spots, they were just entertainment. My friend, George, called me Stacey Starr.

These cute stars come in 5 sealed packets, each with a specific color, such as green, blue, purple, yellow and pink. The #OOTD Star Spot Patches are on sale for $14 on the #OOTD website. Currently, Star Spot Patches are on sale here Supermarket, Shows Near where I live, for $5.99. But YesStyle.comThey are on sale for $12.75.OOTD Star Spot
